Over the years I have run a number of community crafts projects which were all about encouraging folks to ‘have a go’ and to discover the joy of crafting for themselves. In this ultra busy world where you can buy clothes very cheaply and where far too many textiles end up in landfill every year, there is something very mindful about acquiring the skills to make your own clothing.
