18th century bedgown - bespoke and made to order
An 18th century bedgown was a common item of women’s clothing throughout the 18th century. it has a 3/4 length sleeve and reaches the mid calf. If it is required to be closed, this is simply done with a small pin and an apron being tied over it. They were comfortable garments to wear around the home or when working and were made either lined or unlined, usually from linen (but later in the century cotton starts to be used).
I can make bedgown in a wide variety of historically-accurate or historically-approximate shades of linen, and to fit all sizes.
All my products are based at three price levels; entirely hand sewn, partly hand sewn/partly machine sewn, or entirely machine sewn.
Please just message me on the ‘contact us’ page if you went to discuss your bespoke order.
